Cloth Pad Care & Cleaning Guide
Welcome to the world of reusable menstrual care—great choice! Your cloth sanitary pads (CSPs) are designed to be comfortable, effective, and long-lasting with proper care.
How to Wear
Place your pad fleece-side down (usually the black or grey side) inside your underwear, with the jersey side against your skin. Secure it in place using the snaps.
Change your pad as often as you feel comfortable—just as you would with a disposable pad.
What Your Pad Is Made Of
All of our cloth pads are handmade with care. They feature flannel that extends into the wings for added leak protection, a super-absorbent Zorb core, a water-resistant fleece backing, and a soft cotton jersey top that sits against your skin (the pretty side!).
After Use & Storage
After wearing, dry-store your used pads in a wet bag or a lidded bucket. Pads can be stored this way for up to 3 days before washing.
Washing Instructions
After storage, place pads in the washing machine and run a rinse cycle on their own.
Once rinsed, you can add towels or other laundry and wash as normal at up to 60°C. We recommend 30–40°C for regular washing—only use 60°C if you are dealing with a fungal infection.
🚫 Do not use fabric softener, as it will reduce absorbency.
Drying
Line dry or air dry whenever possible. Sunlight is excellent for naturally lifting stains.
Once dry, store your pads away until your next cycle—and enjoy your reusable routine!
